The Murphy NC 28906 Directory page features a listing of government, local businesses, churches, organizations, clubs, and more.
Each link goes to the person's profile that is associated with that business or organization. Links from the directory page will go only to a person's real name profile, not a handle or business name. We are building a community of real people getting to know each other and interacting as people.
Having a profile page is only part of what you can do here. Dress it up and make it obvious what you do and how people can find you and do business with you. You're not paying by the word or the impression. The more you participate, the more you attract new people to you.
At the very least be sure to give your business name, address, phone number, website link, and other ways in which you can be contacted.
The Directory page is organized into sections and the format will be "Your Name - Your Business or Organization." Your name will link to your profile page here on our community. You must first join the community (of course, it's free) and create your profile page before you can be added to the directory.
Listings in each section of the Directory are shown in alphabetical order based on your last name, not the name of your business, for the category in which your business fits.
Please note: We usually update the page once or twice per month.

Good morning.
I want to take a moment and remind new members that we are building a new directory of businesses and organizations in Murphy on our Directory page.
All that is required is that you are a member here and request to be added. We are happy to link to your profile page, but will not link to outside pages. You can do that yourself, by customizing your profile.
If you'd like to be added to the directory, just reply here and tell us about yourself and your organization.
As time allows, I'll also be linking to your profile from some of my other sites.

Good morning,
I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I've added some more businesses and their owners to our Murphy Directory page.
Muffy Kerber is one of the owners of ShoeBooties Café, along with her husband George Kerber.
Bill Grove is the owner of the Henn Theatre, our one and only movie theater.
One of the goals for building this directory is to help you get to know the people who own and operate businesses in our town. All things considered, I believe we'd rather do business with people we know and like, rather than strangers. So, don't be a stranger. Help people get to know you better, by getting to know them better.
This also applies to people who organize and run non-profits and other organizations, churches and other religious organizations, and whatever else is going on in Murphy, NC. Join us and let us know more about you and what you're doing with your organization.
If you'd like your business or organization added to our directory, please reply to this thread with some information about it and I'll add you on the next update.

I just added several of our members to our Murphy NC 28906 Directory page.
Theresa Victa was added to the Massage Therapy section.
Randy Dockery and Kelly R. Hopkins were added to the Real Estate section. (Kelly, I'm sorry I missed doing this earlier.)

I just added a couple of our members to our Murphy NC 28906 Directory.
Audrey Henderson is half the team, along with Tom, that brings you The Green Sheets every month. I added her in the Advertising category.
Kimberly McCloskey is the owner of Partners in Productivity. She is available for you if you need an assistant, but don't want to hire an employee. She has been added to the Virtual Assistants category.
If you are a member of Murphy Connections and have a business in Murphy, NC, I'll be happy to add you to the directory if you'll get the information to me. The easiest way is to reply to this discussion with your information.

Good afternoon,
I wanted to remind all members of Murphy Connections about our Murphy Directory Page and how you can have your business, organization, or club added to it.
Two things:
1. Either an owner, manager, or officer of the organization must be an active Murphy Connections member - I will link to this person's profile page. If you want to link to your other websites or blogs, you are welcome to do that on your profile page.
2. All you have to do is reply to this discussion with the information I need to link to your profile. That includes business category, business or organization name, and to whom I should link.
I try to update this directory page a couple of times per month if I have anything to add.
