Chandler Gooch needs your support. Can you help?

I just now got around to reading last week's Cherokee Scout and I just learned about Chandler Gooch in the Scouting Around column.

Chandler is a Murphy High School wrestler and football player who needs open heart surgery.

According to the article, "His family and friends have set up a bank account at Nantahala Bank in Murphy to assist the Gooches with expenses as the family has no health insurance.

"Donations can be dropped off at the bank or mailed to Nantahala Bank, 86 Hiwassee Street, Murphy, NC 28906." (Make your donations payable to "Hearts for Gooch.")

This young man needs your help, please do what you can.
