Labor Day Weekend Events?

Good evening, Jennifer.

I don't know of any 5K races over the Labor Day weekend, but I'll try to keep my eyes open for one.

The Saturday of Labor Day weekend is our big Heritage Walk and Festival, sponsored by Heritage Partners of Cherokee County.

There will be arts and crafts, food vendors, live music and more in Konehete Park. The Cherokee County Historical Museum will be open all day, and I'm pretty sure the admission is free that day.

Good morning, Jennifer.

I looked to see if I could find a 5K race over the Labor Day weekend and came up empty. That doesn't mean that there isn't one, only that I could not find one.

The next 5K that I could find will be the Murphy Medical Center's 19th annual "Two Hours From Anywhere" 5K challenge, two-mile heart walk, and kids' fun run on Saturday, September 19, 2009.

That probably won't help you, but I'll be posting it to the events in a couple of minutes.

Thanks so much John. I do think if we get up there early enough on Saturday we will go to the Heritage walk and festival. Thanks for looking out for me on the races:)
