Summer is on the way. Lake Hiwassee is filling up!

Yesterday, as I drove into Murphy, I noticed that Lake Hiwassee is starting to fill up, again.

Yep, summer is on the way and TVA is refilling the lake.

It won't be long before it will be warm enough to enjoy a cool swim.

It's as sure a sign of warm weather as seeing the redbuds in bloom and the first daffodils.
