Murphy NC 28906 - A growing community with small town charm

Testing Google News for Murphy, NC

I started testing a feed from Google with news related to Murphy, NC.

It is located on the home page of Murphy Connections, in the left column, below the list of groups and above the links to the Cherokee Scout news items.

I don't know if this will be a permanent feature of the site or not.

So far, the items shown are related to Murphy, but they may not alway be accurate since it is based on a search and the algorithm may not always result in news items that really do pertain to Murphy.

This feed shows the five latest news items, and the start of the story. There is a link at the bottom (just before the Cherokee Scout headlines), that will open a new window showing more results from Google.

I am always looking for ways to make our online community more valuable for people interested in Murphy, NC.
