Hey Ron!

How's your community garden doing? Is it keeping you busy?

All the best,

JD

Good morning, Ron.

I don't have any advice. I started this group because I knew lots of people in the area enjoy gardening.

Mom and Dad both had green thumbs. They could plant just about anything and get it to grow. I didn't inherit that talent.

I do have lots of experience in taking orders and weeding, however. (grin)

Maybe someone will join in here and share their knowledge. Perhaps Cyndie, Sam, and/or Kimberly would like to offer their thoughts, here.

I think a community garden is a great idea.

All the best,

JD

We (Cyndie & Ron, Sam & Debbie, Art & Kimberly) have a community garden along the river. This is our 1st year. Garden is 100x65 and on Art's property. We are trying to be organic farmers. The experts are Cyndie, Sam and Kimberly. The rest of us take orders and weed. lol So far, stuff is growing. Any advice will be appreciated.

There are many people in the area around Murphy, NC who enjoy gardening, farming, landscaping, and growing a wide variety of plants. Come and meet others in the area who also have a green thumb.

Do you have a nursery or landscaping business? Tell us about what you are doing.

Do you grow crops and participate in the local farmers market in Murphy? Spread the word.

This group will become the best place to promote what you're doing in our area. Come on in and let us know what you're doing.
