Good morning, y'all.
It's a cold morning in Murphy and I'm really enjoying some hot coffee this morning while I work though some of my morning routine.
It's been awhile since I've had the energy to participate actively on Murphy Connections, but those days have come to an end. One year ago, I was feeling absolutely terrible while going through chemotherapy and recovering from my surgeries.
Now, I'm feeling much stronger and getting better every day. That means, you guessed it!, I'll be doing more on both Murphy Gold and here on Murphy Connections.
The weather's getting chillier and many of us will be spending more time indoors over the next several months.
So, when you slow down and have a cup of coffee, don't forget Dena's coffee club. Drop in and say howdy and let us know what's going on with you.
I love getting to know my neighbors, and future neighbors, better.
Y'all have a good-un!
Good afternoon, Kevon.
Here's my recommendation -- it has the address and phone number:
http://www.murphyconnections.com/forum/topics/i-recommend-stucco-house
If you go east on Valley River Ave, go past Konehete Park for another quarter mile or so. Look for the laundromat on the left. Stucco House is just past it on the right side of the road in a tan or light brown house.
There will be a folding sign next to the sidewalk and there is usually a Mini Cooper parked right next to the driveway.
I'll make it even easier:
324 Hill Street, Murphy, NC 28906. (828) 837-9492.
It's worth finding. I always enjoy going there.
It looks like this Coffee Club has not been active for awhile, so let me make a quick recommendation.
When you're in Murphy, go to Stucco House Coffee Roasters (about a half-mile east of downtown). Joanna will welcome you and you'll love the laid back atmosphere.
The coffee is great and so is the "home cooked" food (made from scratch).
I love it there. I bet you will, too.
