Valley River Railroad Club Open House

This is the model railroad layout that the club has built inside the Southern caboose parked adjacent to the L&N Depot in Murphy, NC.

Thanks to Thomas Urso and John Myers for giving me a tour at their open house last fall.


This railroad depicts their version of a railway system that stretches from Murphy, NC to the mythical Hughestown (named after Mayor Hughes) on to Andrews, NC.

If you have any interest in trains, and specifically in model trains, you should contact them for a tour and/or membership. They have regular monthly meetings at the L&N Depot.
