- my folks bought land in a cove up there in the 1960s and lived there for about 25 years, or the rest of their lives. Sister moved there in the 1970's. Her kids naturalized and the grandkids are half native. I didn't move there w/ my parents, but I am thinking of getting some land for when we retire. I plan to skulk around and check and see if any like minded folks live around where I want to live. Peace.
