Carol Chapman replied to John Dilbeck's discussion 'Enjoying a thunderstorm!' in the group Things to do in Murphy
I have loved thunderstorms since I was a small girl. But I have to always be in a protected place to watch them. I love the sound of the thunder and the blasts of the lightening.

That's exactly what I'm waiting for.  Also, are there any groups that participate in horseback riding thru the mountains. My husband and I are also looking to joining any  community involvement groups. Any ideas?

The pictures of the snow are just beautiful. I haven't seen snow like that since we left the mountains of Va. 11 years ago. Once we get settled in Murphy the first thing we are going to do is have a big cook-out and invite all the people we…

Live life to the fullest

I must say that yesterday was such a disturbing day for me with Farrah dying and then the sudden death of Micheal Jackson. It makes you sit up and take notice of how short life really is. I say no matter what live life as if it's your last day on earth and do what makes you happy. It's amazing how fast the years fly by. One day my children were lying on my stomach in a hospital room after being taken from my womb and the next moment they are grown adults with children of their own. Sometimes I… Continue

I love Dena's new photography studio. She and Stacey did a great job getting it ready. I'm sure it will be a big asset for her photography business.

Hi Carol.

It's good hearing from you! I hope your new realtor sells your property soon so you can move out here where you want to be.

We had quite a bit of snow in January. They're talking about a little tonight and Wednesday night, but not nearly as much as we had the last time.

You're quite a bit warmer than we are. I haven't seen any flowers blooming, yet.

Looking forward to seeing you, again.

No, I didn't. John has sent me a couple of e-mails I haven't received either. I'm beginning to think something is wrong with my e-mail. Can you send it to dena@imagesbycourtnie.com ?

Good morning, Carol.

I know how frustrating it can be when you want to sell and move and nobody's buying. Hopefully, you'll sell your home there soon so you can come join us in the mountains.

It doesn't seem like a year, and it has been a rough one for me, but it's getting better every month.

Welcome back to Murphy Connections. I've missed talking to you. Fall is my favorite time of year and we're starting to see a little color. It won't be long before the trees are dressed in their party leaves and celebrating all over these mountains.

Maybe you'll be here to enjoy it next year!

All the best,

JD

Hi Carol. Yes, I'll be recuperating at Dena's. I bought a travel trailer and will be living in it, just a few steps from her house. I'm looking forward to living in my new home. Hopefully, your property will sell soon and y'all can move, too. I'm enjoying missing the pollen!

Hi, Carol. Don't know when I'll go home. Hopefully soon. Don't know about a diet, yet. At least, thankfully, I'm not hurting as much as I expected.
