Cherokee Indian Heritage
Considering that Murphy, NC is located in Cherokee County, and that our county was formed right after the terrible Trail of Tears, it's important to remember the heritage of the Cherokee Indians who settled this land thousands of years ago.

I thought of it as more of a mystery, than a forgone conclusion (love story) it seemed to be the best of both worlds. If there is any way I can be at the book store I will! Great Book! Great knowledge and entertainment!

- I am a proud mother of a wonderful daughter. I am happily married to a very talented husband. I could not have picked a better husband for my daughter than my son (in-law) and I enjoy watching my grandchildren grow in character as well as size. I am an employee of Parkers Drug Store and enjoy my time with our customers. I am currently trying to bring back some of the "old days" at Parkers. My time is limited for this indevour so any suggestions would be helpful, but may not be timely in being put to practice. I am keeping a journal!

Some of us were talking the other day and we decided that one of the best kept secrets at Parker's Drugs is the fact that you have name-brand perfumes for sale there.
Although most of the people who have lived here for some time already know this, Parker's has a great lunch counter in the back of the store, too.
