Just wanted to let anyone who's interested in building a green home or adding green features to their existing home, I recently achieved the Green Designation from the National Association of Realtors. There's a wealth of information available on the internet. And, I am more than happy to direct you towards green resources and green builders/certifiers. Roof Cleaning: Nothing But The Facts Please (Part One)

Roof cleaning is becoming more and more popular especially in the Southeastern United States because of an airborne algae called “Gloeocapsa Magma”. It is identified by the black streaks and stains that are mainly found on the north facing side of the roof, but does spread to the entire roof eventually.

I enjoyed walking along the new section of the River Walk

Yesterday, I got a chance to do something I've been wanting to do for the last few weeks, visit the new section of the River Walk that runs long the eastern edge of Murphy, NC. I've been wanting to do this ever since I saw the new brochure for the River Walk.
