My Daughter's Passion

My daughter is an Army Wife, and has since moved from Colorado to Louisiana. My son-in-law is a Staff Sargent in the Army. They have 2 wonderful children, my grandchildren. My daughter has to always watch their budgets and they still have to feed a family of 4 on the budget of 2, so in order to gain the biggest bang for her bucks, she does extreme couponing. Most times she can go grocery shopping and gets up to 100% return on her spending, which means a lot of times she comes out of the grocery store loaded with groceries and has not even paid 1cent. She is simply amazing at shopping.

I cannot wait to be with her so that I too will be able to learn her tricks of the trade. Yes it is all done legally and without malice.

With that being said, she has developed and coined a phase called "Cascading Coupons". This is very different from coupon stacking. We have put together a website for her which is located here www.cascadingcoupons.wordpress.com

We now have well over 400 hits and it has only been up about a week.

If you are a couponer, please visit her site and you too might be able to find a way of doing your weekly shopping more efficiently.

One thing I would like to mention here is that Military serving overseas can use expired or out-dated coupons for up to six moths after expiration, so please if you use coupons and have any that is coming up to their due date, please consider listing them on her website under the database section, this way those associated with the military will be able to know what is available and perhaps we will be able to send them over and keep them out of our over-flowing landfills.
