The Moving Wall

The Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall has been in Murphy the past 4 days. Although I've seen the Vietnam Memorial in DC, my son and I went to the wall on Friday afternoon. I was very impressed with the professionalism, respect, and patriotism of the whole event. My son asked me what the wall was for and I managed to tell him it's meaning, while holding back tears. Although I don't personally know anyone who died in the war, my dad and both grandfathers served in various wars. My thoughts went to the families of those who gave their lives for our freedom, and the freedom of others. Amazing people!! God bless those families and friends, and those who served and survived!!
