Wilderness Warriors Name Change

It was brought to my attention that the name "warriors" was indicitive to a person experienced in conflict and probably not a good fit for our mission. We have changed the name to "Wilderness Advenures-connecting children to nature" which is exactly what we hope to to accomplish.

Our Mission:

Our ambition is that by working together with parents, partners, local businesses and volunteers we can help create the county’s largest outdoor learning service, offering all children, of all ages, from as wide a range of backgrounds as possible the chance to participate in outdoor learning activities in their back garden and local green space to farms, County Parks, National Parks, and beyond to the mountainsides across Western North Carolina.
