Fall Festival 2010 - Singers 2

John C. Campbell Folk School, in Brasstown, NC, hosts a Fall Festival every year during the first weekend in October. This video shows some of the singers who performed on the Craft Shop stage and in the Festival Barn on Sunday, October 3, 2010.

I am uploading two videos (Singers 1 and Singers 2). Originally, this was one video, but it was too long to upload on YouTube, so I split it into two videos. Both videos are similar and initially may look like duplicates, but they aren't.

Singers 1 features more song excerpts from the Beulah Land Gospel Band.

Singers 2 features more song excerpts from Paul and Jerry Wilson and family.

This was the first time I tried to make a video in the Festival Barn and I thought I was going to get some really good shots when I got a front row center seat. However, the backlighting resulted in near silhouettes instead of good clear close-up shots. I'll remember that when I shoot video there next year.

Even though the silhouettes are disappointing, the music is still great. Hope you enjoy.
